I went to Hong Kong for a week last May. Not my first time but it feels like it every time. We had already checked in for our flight the night before so we were only required to be at the airport an hour before the flight but we were still 3 hours early. Talk about excited.
Luckily, we had the privilege of staying in the Miascor lounge thanks to our Citi cards. Yay for free food, drinks, wifi, and very comfortable seats. We’ve traveled abroad before, not that many times but for the first time, I didn’t mind being mega early for our flight.
The view from the lounge wasn’t that unique. It was probably the same view from everywhere else in varying angles.
My brother’s ipod versus mine. See how dirty mine is?
We went to our gate and saw how cramped the people were in waiting area. To quote Raj from The Big Bang Theory, it was "hot loud and there are so many people."
I didn’t take photos on the plane as I had to use all my strength and will power to keep myself from puking. Motion sickness sucks. I was so glad Hong Kong is only 2 hours away, and (according to my friend) the 777 plane is nice.
I absolutely love Hong Kong International Airport. I love how HKIA is like a gigantic mall, rather than an airport. I only got to photograph the outside though.
After getting our luggage, we took the S56 home. Well, at least home for a week. Our place was directly across Citygate Outlets and Food Republic. What a treat!

I won’t make separate posts for days 2-7 anymore; I’ll try to squish the rest in 2 or 3 blog posts.
I’ve been terribly MIA the past year and I think I want to start blogging again. From blogging and reblogging everything Harry Potter (and the occasional Starkid, Glee) posts, I’m completely shifting gears and finally going to start ‘legit’ blogging. Not that my blog wasn’t legit before. I simply mean I’m going to start writing about what actually happens in my life.
Think of it as a travelog, except I can’t really call it that as I travel once a year tops. But it would be similar to that. I’m keeping my url, layout, and basically everything I’ve left on malfoymalfunction, in case anyone would like to back read on travel back to my previous posts. I’m not changing sites for the main reason that I don’t want to start 100% anew. Some of you might feel the need to unfollow me which I completely understand seeing as how this is a hundred and eighty degree turn from how my blog was before. Okay maybe not a complete 180 as I used to blog tidbits about my life before, but it is going to be a big change.
Thanks to everyone that supported malfoymalfunction (and even the previous -malfoymalfunction) the past few years. Here’s something incredibly cheesy but true, you’ve (and the rest of the Tumblr experience) has indeed made those few years amazing and I couldn’t imagine my life not having been addicted to Tumblr, hahaha. I’ve made some great friends on here and I don’t plan on burning bridges I’ve crossed here on Tumblr. (I hope that made sense LOL)
I will start posting ASAP (I already have one in the drafts). You don’t even have to read them, I just sort of want a locker room if you will for all the photos I’ve taken throughout my trips and whatnots.
